The light and love of Elizabeth’s life is embodied in her 20 year old daughter Dixie’drea. Like her brother, Dixie was born while her family lived in an historic cottage outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. Serendipitously, Hawthorne Cottage was across the street from a stream which led to the river Tay, where her parents met.
Elizabeth prepared her children for a diverse world by taking them on adventures all over Europe and the Continent. When a trip abroad was not on the agenda, hill climbing and camping in Scotland’s often damp environment were family favorites. These adventures only deepened the extraordinary bond between Dixie and her mom, and they were the best of friends.
Gaining her certificate in dog training, Dixie is the manager at Wag Watch in Philadelphia. Leveraging social media, communication skills and coupled with her attention to detail, Dixie has created a faithful following of customers and raised the standard of service and excellence.
A focused and adaptive person, Dixie has incredible determination. That quality will serve women in need, as she honors her mother by fulfilling Elizabeth’s dream of saving other women from what she endured during her three-year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Dixie’drea brings intelligence, a willingness to take on any challenge, and a deep level of caring for others to Elizabeth's Wish.
